Ruha is a qualified Clinical Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator, with PG Certificate in Diabetes Education recognized by International Diabetes Federation. Her interests also lie in Sports Nutrition. She has interned in P.D Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. Her forte lies in Medical Nutrition Therapy for Cardiovascular Diseases, Co morbidities and Diabetes. Originally from Pune, she has worked with leading Interventional Cardiologists and Diabetologists as a Nutritionist for Cardiovascular Rehabilitation (CVR) in Maharashtra. She has handled projects with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Program) a government initiative concerning ‘Maintenance of Health and Hygiene of foods in Messes, Eat-outs and Catering Services’. Currently she is working in Qua Nutrition as the Head of Training Department at QUA NUTRITION CLINICS. She swears by the fact stated in Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta “If your Diet is wrong, Medicine is of no use. If your Diet is correct, Medicine is of no need.”
